Research Center of Information, Production and System (IPSRC) is one of the research bases of Waseda University,
and is annexed to the Graduate School of Information, Production and System, Waseda University in the "Kitakyushu Academic Research City" in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
IPSRC comprehensively captures the three fields of "Information Architecture", "Production Systems" and "System LSI".
We are working on research aime at SDGs in collaboration with industry, academia and government by feeding back research results to the community.
・Inujima's Labolatory belongs to [ Production Systems] field of I.P.S.
Among the three fields of Information Architecture, Production Systems, and Integrated Systems,
our main focus is on "Production Systems."
We conduct research on the fundamentals and applications of sensors, analog electronic circuits,
measurement engineering, signal processing, statistical analysis methods, artificial intelligence (AI),
and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Particularly, based on "diagnostic monitoring technology,"
our research encompasses a broad range of technical areas related to diagnostic
and monitoring methods applied to electrical equipment (such as motors, transformers, circuit breakers,
cables, control devices, power devices, etc.), structures (such as bridges, tunnels, etc.),
and biological systems (such as heart rate, brain waves, electromyography, and odors).
Now there is some posibility of producing new network, because of microminiaturize of sensor,
price down of electronics and equipment of the network environment.
IoT has a common hardware which is able to rewrite the contents freely,
so the precision diagnosis and analysis will be realized. Rapid development of machine diagnostic techniques is expected from now.
Machine diagnostic techniques can be applied to Monitor for traffic, Surbeillances of air pollution which is a problem to be solved and Support of old people living alone in the ageing society,
Economic engineering and so on.
Signal processing techniques like the wavelet-transformation and independent component analysis-machine diagnosis are applied to techniques.
